    The First Star
    Lucas
The first night at the other Elinsworth Household, I had a marvelous dream. It was a memory from the old days, back when Hayden and Elizabeth had been Feli and my age, and Feli and I just only 3 years old. It was just the four of us, having a picnic at the old creek we played at daily. But I knew this dream too well. It was the first shown sign of Felicity's leg problems. The dream became not so marvelous. Felicity had snuck off to play in the crystal clear water. Now please don't get me wrong, Felicity had been a very athletic and agile girl for only being 3. She enjoyed running with the family pony as a toddler. None of us had imagined that her once powerful legs would be so fragile. Back to my original point, Felicity had been playing around in the water. Well, the spot where she had chosen to play was at the source of the creek, where the waterfall dropped into from the higher head river. Since none of us had really played in the water over in the source, none of us knew that the source not only had a strong current, but it also had very slippery and jagged rocks and pebbles. Felicity began hopping around in the source. But she accidentally hopped onto a sharp rock, which triggered her slip on a mountain of slippery pebbles. Felicity fell into a strong part of the current, which made her float down stream, where we found her floating. Somehow, Felicity couldn't walk when we helped her out of the creek. Our mothers tried to figure out why she couldn't walk, so she suffered weeks of bed rest until she was strong enough to balance herself on her legs. Felicity's mother eventually began coming with us to the creek to make sure that Felicity didn't get injured again, up until Felicity didn't want to step in the creek again. It's been over 7 years that Felicity hasn't stepped in the creek's water again. I was quickly woken up through the rerun of this horrid memory by the youngest maid of my uncle. The servant girl had both Commoner and Wealth features- Sparrow brown hair and freckles of a Commoner, but the ocean blue eyes and face of a Wealth. Shy little thing, unlike mouthy and spunky Feli. "Sir Lucas-" "Luke to you." "… Luke, your cousin and uncle wish to see you as soon as you've tidied up yourself for the day in their main parlor. Would you need me to help in anyway?" "Nah, thank you for the help though. Tell Uncle Anthony and Lillian I'll be ready as soon as possible." "If you are need in assistance at any time, please call me for me." "Thank you, will do." Lacey smiled, and skipped out the room. I could tell she'd be become a very good companion while I was here. To save hassle for any of the servants that lived here, I cleaned up my room for them. I began unpacking to find a good outfit, and afterwards, left my room to meet the family and staff. I decided to make my room home when I came back from whatever Anthony needed. When I wondered into the parlor, it wasn't as dark and cozy as mine was. It was bright and airy and very opened spaced- The windows illuminated the space. The walls were painted a milky white, adorned with light blue and brown furniture. The door was a inhumanely golden color, up until I thought the door really was made of gold. The doorknobs were made of clear and shining glass. I stopped soaking the magnificent view and wondered over to Uncle Anthony and company, all huddled together ready for me. "Lucas! Finally, you managed to find the parlor. Since it's your first day at the secondary Elinsworth household, I believe that you need to meet everyone in the household. As you know, I'm your uncle Anthony. I'm your father Alastair's younger brother. This is Lillian, your cousin. Like I said yesterday, she prefers 'Lily' over Lillian. She's nine years old, so you two must be around the same age." Lillian waved with a silent smile, much more classy and tidied up than when I met her in the night. "And these 4 are our servants- Charlotte, Kendall, Blanca, and Lacy." He motioned over to them,  the servants respectfully bowing to me. I believe that 2 of the Commoner servants and the servant girl who attended me earlier are related, since the other girl looked nothing like them. Unlike the Commoner brown hair and green or blue eyes, this girl had skin colored like caramel, hair black as midnight, and eyes as brown as Oak wood. The oldest Commoner, a girl about Hayden and Elizabeth's age, began the introductions. "Welcome, Sir Lucas. I am Charlotte, the oldest servant here. Pleasure to meet you." She had the usual features of a Commoner- brown hair, greens eyes, freckles, just like Elizabeth and Felicity. She looked a lot like Elizabeth- long let down hair with a bandana tied around her head. The next one followed. She looked about 15 years old. She also shared Commoner hair and freckles, but had Wealth eyes, just like my servant girl. I'm suspecting she's her older sister. "Welcome Sir Lucas! I'm Kendall. It's a real pleasure to meet you, I hope you enjoy your stay at the secondary Elinsworth household!" Kendall's hair was tied into a wild and curly ponytail, which was going in complete shambles. Even I wouldn't call it a ponytail. The next servant was the strange featured one. She looked about my and Felicity's age. "Hello, my name is Blanca. It is a pleasure to serve the Elinsworth household and to meet you, Sir Lucas. I do hope that you enjoy your stay." Her voice sounded rather monotone, and her hair was tied into two low hanging ponytails with white bows. She stared deep into my eyes. Her eyes almost looked… dead. And last was my servant girl. Lacey was her name. "Hello Sir Lucas, it's a great pleasure to serve you and your family. My name is Lacey. I hope you'll have a good time at your new home." Lacey definitely looked around Lillian's age, maybe even younger. Lacey didn't really have long hair, all of her hair was crimped into curls on the left side of her head. She wore a cute white beret. "It's truly a great pleasure to meet every one of you. I also hope that I'll have a good time at the Elinsworth household," I respond back. "Everyone looks very kind, I hope I'll like you as much as you guys seem to like me." I bowed in a sign of respect, while Uncle Anthony, Lillian, and the servants bowed and curtsied in return. "Alright girls, you have the rest of the day off. Feel free to do anything you want. Just don't set the house on fire," Uncle Anthony announced with Lillian agreeingly nodding. The servants thanked them, curtsied once more for respect, and excused themselves out of the room. But there's something about that Blanca girl that bothers me, other than her strange features. I should probably ask Uncle Anthony about her. "Well, now that the girls are out of here, let's get aquitanced with each other." Lillian and Anthony took their seats on a baby blue couch, resting lazily on it. I proceeded to take my own, plunging into a vat of fluffy cotton that people called a couch. My bottom sunk into where the fluff and bottom of the couch frame met. "So Lucas! How was life back at your old place? Pretty good?" Anthony picked up a mug, gulping the contents of the mug into his mouth. Lillian gently held a tea cup in her dainty little hands, taking more polite and smaller sips. "Well, it was great. I had my brother, my brother's betrothed, and her younger sister to accompany me. Life was never too dull in the primary Elinsworth home. Sadly, as you know, Father and Mama died in the house fire which is why we had to reconstruct half of the house." "Ah yes, I know. I was devastated when I learned that Al and Carly died. But hey, at least you had your little girlfriend, her sister, Hayde and Dad to cheer you up." "She's not my girlfriend. She's more of a sister than a romantic partner. Anyway, soon after my parents died, I took up piano lessons. Grandfather called me a prodigy, but I knew that wasn't true. I still consider myself a novice to the piano. This was also around the time when Hayden's betrothed and her sister became maids at our home, because their mother died of the coughing disease. This was about 2 years ago." Anthony's grinning face dropped as soon as I said "Coughing." "Ah, yes, I remember the Coughing epidemic. T'was a very sad time then. The Campbell siblings also had lost their mother at that time too. She and I were to marry, despite the 10 year difference. She was like a mother to Lillian. I truly do miss her, I wish the sickness hadn't taken her from us. We were planning of having our first child this year." Anthony had worry wrinkles, something I hadn't noticed until then. Anthony's fiancée sounded like a kind woman, taking care of nearly 4 girls. I felt truly sorry for him, to lose his beloved and crushed his dream for another child. "I agree. Anyway, a while afterwards, my friend taught me how to paint. Now painting, I am definitely a novice at forever. I only have one real painting I adore. In fact, I brought it with me. I'd be more than happy to show you two sometime." "I'd love to see your artwork sometime, Luke my boy. Do you have any questions or would like to hear stories of the stupidities of the Elinsworth household?" Anthony's grin took the place of his worry wrinkles. "I… actually have two. They concerns Blanca. "What?" "Why does Blanca look weird and kinda acts like a walking corpse?"
The third chapter of the first starrrrr! Yayyyy!
I actually think I'm gonna change the format of the point of views. I seem to have more of Lucas's story planned out more than Felicity's, but there's an important part of the story in Feli's story. Oh well, I'll do another Feli chapter and see how it goes.

Oh, since it's not very noticeable, I'll state it right now-
The reason why Blanca looks weird to Luke is because there's only 2 "races" where he lives- Wealth and Commoner.

Commoners usually have fairly to moderate pale skin, brown hair, green eyes, and freckles.

Wealths usually have moderately pale tan skin, blonde hair, blue eyes, and no freckles.

The reason why Blanca's "weird looking" will be explain in the next Lucas chapter, which will probably be tomorrow.
